David L. Miller (1936- )
William P. Tolley Distinguished Teaching Professor in Humanities at  Syracuse University, author of such books as God and Games and The New Polytheism. A Professor at Drew University during the 1960s, he included Barfield's "Imagination and Inspiration" in Interpretation: The Poetry of Meaning (co-edited with Stanley Romaine Hopper).
