May 22-25, 2008—The Department of Communication and Media Studies at Fordham University in New York sponsored the first scholarly conference devoted to the HBO drama The Sopranos. The conference sought to provide a definitive final assessment of one of the most important television series ever. The best papers from the conference will be published as a book. Dominic Chianese (Uncle Junior) was our guest of honor. |
