John Varley, born
in 1947, currently lives in Portland, Oregon. He began publishing science
fiction in the mid-seventies and promptly won the Nebula and Hugo Awards.
As well as screenwriting, he has written a trilogy, Caea, and his
stories are collected in The Persistence of Vision (1980). |
